Here's the photographic evidence that our Year 12s had an absolutely fantastic day at River Dart Country Park on 29th September!
The day was packed with challenges, from conquering high ropes and tackling climbing walls to working together on a series of team-building activities.
Of course, true teamwork isn't always glamorous. Sometimes it's offering encouragement from the sidelines, lending a helping hand, or even sacrificing your toes while helping someone safely back to solid ground! But that's exactly what the day was all about: supporting one another, building trust and discovering that with the right people beside you, you're capable of far more than you might think.
It was wonderful to see students encouraging each other to take that all-important first step towards challenges they may never have attempted alone. Confidence grew, friendships strengthened and memories were made, all while developing the resilience, communication and teamwork skills that will serve them so well throughout their Sixth Form journey and beyond.
A fantastic day, plenty of smiles, and a brilliant start to Year 12 life at TG6. Well done, everyone!
